Saitama by Erik Champney
As a child, Daiyu saw her family die with the fall of Shanghai. Now sixteen, she is incarcerated in a military sanctioned brothel, forced to serve the soldiers who traffic through her crumbled city. Among them is a man quietly watching Daiyu from afar. Tonight, he has decided to change her fate. This is a story of the "comfort women" of World War II, who were never given a choice.
